Make Every Woman Count (MEWC) is an African women's rights organisation that serves as a (primarily online) platform to inform, conduct advocacy through evidence-based research, and provide training to women’s organisations and young activists to strengthen women’s leadership capacities to influence policy- and decision-making.
MEWC is seeking interns who are motivated and passionate about advocating for women's rights and who have the drive and skills to conduct desk research and produce informative and empowering social media content, blog posts, policy briefs, and other advocacy and communications materials.
The internship provides an opportunity to be involved in research, policy briefs and report writing and analysis, monitoring, administrative work, website content production, and significant involvement in our advocacy projects, such as our Women's Political Participation Monitoring (PPM) project.
Internship DutiesSpecific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with MEWC’s research team in conducting desk research and literature reviews.
- Contribute to analysis through an intersectional feminist lens.
- Identify & research relevant topics and write evidence-based articles to be featured in MEWC’s Blogs.
- Assist with the preparation, review and publication of MEWC’s reports, policy briefs, articles, etc.
- Monitor elections in Africa and produce reports analysing women's participation as part of MEWC's Political Participation Monitoring (PPM) project.
- Interns will also be encouraged to participate in other projects being pursued and implemented within the organisation. They will be a very important addition to all of the project teams.
QualificationsYou are a highly motivated and passionate undergraduate or recent graduate with a strong interest or background in women's rights issues, with the ability to keep tight deadlines and commitments.
You also have:
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills (the same skills in French are an asset)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as part of a globally-distributed remote team
- Excellent ability to work with all levels of staff and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to learn, adapt and thrive in a changing technical environment
- Capacity and diligence to work remotely

About the Role
The HR Administrator plays a vital role in delivering reliable, efficient HR services at inTouch. INTRODUCTION AND CONTEXT
IPPF has multi-level political advocacy as a fundamental pillar of its 2028 Strategy. To this end, IPPF ACRO has identified various advocacy spaces to act, including the International AIDS Conference (IAC) in 2026. IAC is the world’s largest conference on HIV and AIDS, bringing together every two years thousands of researchers, activists, policymakers, people living with HIV, and global leaders.
The next International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2026) is scheduled to be held in Brazil from 26th to 31st of July, in Rio de Janeiro city at a particularly critical and high-visibility moment, marking the first time the conference has returned to Latin America in over a decade and highlighting the region's efforts and persistent challenges in ending the epidemic.
OBJECTIVES FOR THIS CONSULTANCY
The primary objective of this consultancy is to manage all operational and public-facing aspects of IPPF's participation at AIDS 2026, ensuring the delegation's effective functioning and guaranteeing high-impact visibility for IPPF’s work, key messages, and policy priorities across the conference platforms and media ecosystem in Brazil.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will be a highly organized, proactive, and experienced professional, ideally with previous experience managing large delegations at major international events, preferably within the global health or development sectors.
Essential Requirements:
- Organization and Planning: A high aptitude for meticulous planning, adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently, and proactive in anticipating potential unforeseen circumstances.
- Proven experience in complex international logistics, including large-scale travel, accommodation, and visa coordination.
- Demonstrated experience in event management, specifically organizing high-profile side events at international conferences.
- Client-Centric Approach: A dedicated focus on traveler satisfaction and well-being, providing comprehensive support throughout the entire process.

The Role
Working in the Response, Policy and Evidence area of the organisation, the Instructional Designer will develop training and learning products to support capability in the specialist family violence and broader workforces.

About the Role
As the Paralegal/Intake Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that women and non-binary people seeking support from Women’s Legal receive a respectful, empowering and high quality service. You will lead a team of paralegals and intake workers, support best-practice intake systems and contribute to ongoing service improvement.- Lead and support a high-performing, trauma-informed team of intake workers and paralegals.

Job Purpose:The Gender and Human Rights Advisor provides technical, policy and programmatic support across the region, to ensure the regional and country offices remain abreast of UNFPA’s policies and programme strategies, as well as current thinking, innovation and academic advancement in the substantive area of gender equality and social norms change and human rights.
The Advisor analyses regional trends, and contributes to action in response to these, and ensures that gender and human rights are adequately addressed within regional and national development frameworks and programmes, including the achievement of the SDGs, ICPD Programme of Action, the African Union Agenda 2063 and relevant League of Arab States outcome documents / decisions.
In all activities, the Advisor works within an interdisciplinary team providing integrated policy, programme and technical support to the region and the respective country teams - working across humanitarian and development contexts. The Advisor also liaises with other regional teams, especially other Programme Advisors, ensuring the timeliness, adequacy, relevance and quality of support to UNFPA country offices. Qualifications and Experience:
- Advanced university degree or equivalent in gender studies, anthropology, public health, medicine, sociology, human rights, law, cultural studies, international development, or another field directly related to GBV prevention and response.
- At least 10 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in GBV programming, gender mainstreaming, and/or rights-based programming, of which seven years at the international level;
Knowledge and understanding of a Human Rights based approach essential; - Extensive experience in gender mainstreaming and programming for women’s development;

Movement buildingJOB SUMMARY:
The Research and Policy Officer – Education will lead evidence-based research, data analysis and policyengagement to support Black Girls Dream Initiative’s mission of promoting inclusive and equitableeducation for girls and young women. The role involves generating insights, producing policy briefs andadvocating for systemic change in education policy and practice. The officer will also collaborate withstakeholders to influence government policies and programs that affect girls’ education and
empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and Knowledge Generation
• Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research on education access, quality, and gender equity.
• Analyze data and trends affecting girls’ education, retention, and learning outcomes.
• Develop and publish policy briefs, position papers, and research reports aligned with BGDI’s advocacy goals.
• Support the documentation of success stories, case studies, and impact evidence from BGDI programs.
2. Policy Analysis and Advocacy Support
• Monitor national and state-level education policies, reforms, and frameworks relevant to girls’ education.
• Identify policy gaps and provide actionable recommendations for reform and improved implementation.
• Develop advocacy materials and contribute to campaigns aimed at influencing education policy and decision-making.
• Represent BGDI at education policy forums, stakeholder meetings and roundtable discussions.
3. Programmatic and Strategic Support
• Provide data-driven insights to inform program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Support fundraising proposals, donor reports, and program evaluations with accurate data and policy context.
• Ensure research outputs align with BGDI’sstrategic objectives and advocacy priorities.
4. Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, education coalitions, development partners, and research institutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to disseminate research findings.
• Participate in education advocacy coalitions and contribute to joint policy actions.
5. Data Management and Reporting
• Maintain an updated database of education data, reports, and research outputs.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly research and policy reports for management and donors.
• Track progress and impact of advocacy initiatives using measurable indicators.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Policy, Development Studies, Economics, or Social Sciences.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in research, policy analysis, or advocacy within the education or development sector.
• Proven experience developing policy briefs, research publications, or advocacy materials.
• Strong understanding of education systems, gender inclusion, and policy processes in Nigeria.
• Experience using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Power BI, or STATA) is an added advantage.
