- Collaborating in team problem-solving, policy analysis, litigation strategy, litigation management, client representation, and trial work;
- Engaging with a team that supports collaboration, identifies and promotes the organization’s values, and advances its mission;
- Communicating and working effectively with external audiences such as the news media, government officials, and coalition partners (must be able to function as an effective spokesperson for clients and for Pregnancy Justice);
- Supervise staff attorneys, legal Fellows, and legal interns with a focus on constructive feedback, skills building, openness, collaboration, and communication while providing guidance on case strategy and legal analysis; and
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications- Exceptional communication skills in legal contexts, including with clients in legal proceedings, meetings, negotiations, or administrative proceedings; in a wide variety of public education contexts, and in the media as determined by the Legal Director and Media & Communications Director;
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills and an ability to do creative legal research, writing, and advocacy; comfort working within the organization’s collaborative approach to writing;
- An ability to read, understand, and synthesize medical and social science research material;
- Willingness to do the work needed to build effective teams and relationships across diverse issues and communities and willingness to do the work needed to be in relationship with individuals across diverse experience and backgrounds with humility and awareness;
- Ability to manage time efficiently, maintain a flexible schedule, and travel as needed for case work, court appearances, training, conferences, and presentations;
- Advanced-level proficiency in using the Mac OS platform MS Office Suite, with familiarity or trainability in other software applications, social media platforms, databases, and research tools.

The National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Global Network supports developing countries to advance their NAP processes to help accelerate climate change adaptation efforts around the world. The Network seeks an e-learning specialist to support in the design and development of a self-directed / self-paced online course on Mainstreaming Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) in NAP processes, to be launched by the end of 2025. The course will cover key concepts, methodologies, tools, and practical skills for mainstreaming GESI in NAP processes. The course will combine expert instruction, engaging materials, exercises and real-world examples to provide a valuable learning experience for professionals working in climate change adaptation. The course should take no more than 6 hours to complete for the audience.
Objective of the assignment
The e-learning designer will work with the NAP Global Network Secretariat to adapt six existing training modules previously developed on Mainstreaming GESI into NAP processes into a highquality, comprehensive, engaging, and accessible online course that meets the above learning objectives and is ready for launch within an 8-month period.
Scope of Work
The assignment involves the following responsibilities:
• Collaborating with experts from the NAP Global Network to translate existing training content into effective learning experiences
• Advising on instructional approaches and strategies, course architecture and software based on the learning principles and desired outcomes
• Creating storyboards, instructional guidelines, and scripts 1 E-Learning Designer Terms of Reference – NAP Global Network – April 2025
• Developing e-learning modules using the selected authoring software
• Working with the NAP Global Network and other service providers to integrate multimedia elements (video, audio, animations) into the course where needed
• Ensuring the course is technically compliant with the learning platform and meets accessibility standards
• Assisting in the testing and quality assurance of the course, and incorporating feedback from testers into the final products
• Providing technical guidance, documentation, or templates to support future internal updates.
Requirements for assignment
The candidate recruited for this assignment ideally has:
- At least 5 years experience in instructional design and e-learning development
- Proficiency with industry-standard e-learning authoring tools and excellent knowledge of existing learning platforms and their advantages.
- Strong grasp of adult learning principles and online pedagogy
- Ability to create accessible, interactive, and learner-centered content
- Experience working with diverse teams, including subject matter experts and other service providers (e.g., video production team)
- Excellent time management and communication skills

2. External engagement support and marketing- 25%

Purpose of the Position:
NCA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Director to lead our humanitarian and development work in Syria and Lebanon, as well as oversee our administrative office in Amman, Jordan. This role requires a strategic leader who can navigate complex political and cultural landscapes, manage sudden onset crises and emergencies as well as a volatile security situation, rebuild and foster relationships, and expand and drive the program portfolio in an excellent manner in a challenging environment.

Generic (e.g. 'gender focal point' role Gender equality and Social inclusion (GESI)Department purpose: The Oxfam in Asia regional platform contributes to and implements Oxfam’s Global Objectives and Strategy and leads the implementation of Oxfam in Asia’s Strategic Framework, by providing vision and strategic direction to all of Oxfam’s work in Asia.Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership- Provide high-level technical advice on gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI).
- Lead, review, and oversee the implementation of the program’s GEDSI Strategic Framework to ensure women’s leadership, prioritising Indigenous Women, women with disabilities, and diverse groups across the program.
- Lead feminist influencing strategies across multi-country climate and natural resource governance initiatives.
Capacity Development- Build and strengthen the capacity of Oxfam teams, partners, women led network, and stakeholders through tailored tools, mentoring, and inclusive training across diverse cultural, political, and institutional contexts.
- Facilitate learning exchanges, regional workshops, and peer-to-peer support models to embed intersectional GEDSI and feminist approaches into partner organizations and local governance processes.
- Support the development of partner-led, context-specific methodologies for GEDSI integration in climate resilience, enabling long-term ownership and leadership.
Influencing and Representation- Lead and coordinate regional advocacy efforts, influencing policies and practices at local, national, and international levels through alliances, research, and evidence-based approaches.
- Represent Oxfam in high-level forums, building partnerships and strategic collaborations with civil society, governments, donors, and multilateral actors.
- Research, develop and present analytical reports, research papers, briefing notes, background papers, summaries, and knowledge products on women’s leadership and participation in water governance and climate resilience.
Job RequirementsQualifications: Advanced degree in gender studies, social sciences, international development, or a related field, with at least 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in gender equality, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI), feminist policy influencing, or rights-based programming designing and implementing programmes and advocating for women’s leadership and participation—preferably in climate resilience, water governance, or related sectors across the Mekong Sub-Region.Strategic Thinking and Judgment – Proven ability to apply intersectional analysis and feminist principles to develop and implement regional strategies on GEDSI and climate justice within complex, multi-country contexts.Influencing – Excellent knowledge of women’s leadership and participation with demonstrated success in building strategic alliances and leveraging evidence to influence policy, discourse, and decision-making at national, regional, and global levels.Capacity Development – Extensive experience designing and delivering inclusive capacity-strengthening initiatives with partners and internal teams, including mentoring, training, and co-creation of tools and methodologies.Collaboration and Relationship Building – Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work across diverse multi-cultural teams, countries, and sectors to ensure shared learning, alignment, and collective impact.Self-Awareness and Accountability – Actively practices inclusive leadership, reflects critically on power and privilege, and consistently upholds feminist and rights-based values in professional relationships and decision-making.Fluency in a Mekong language and a high level of competency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and adapt messaging for diverse audiences, including partners, policymakers, and communities.*When clicking on “Apply”, you will be redirected to the original job announcement and details
