The Centre for Rights, Education and Awareness (CREAW), is a feminist NGO in Kenya dedicated to advancing women’s and girls’ rights and promoting social justice. CREAW operates in 31 counties, with a physical presence in 7 counties. Its strategic priorities include:
- Ending violence against women and girls
- Advancing sexual and reproductive health rights

OBJECTIVE
CREAW is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement with a recruitment agency to identify, attract, and present highly qualified candidates for various roles. The agency will deliver a transparent, merit-based process that aligns with CREAW’s values, governance requirements, donor expectations, and safeguarding principles.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The agency will provide end-to-end recruitment services, including, but not limited to:
- Defining role profiles, compensation, and criteria with CREAW stakeholders.
- Assessing CVs, leadership values, safeguarding, and provide longlists of 5 candidates per role.
- Developing guides, rubrics, and coordinate structured interviews.
- Conducting reference checks and credentials verification
- Selection & Presentation: Prepare candidate dossiers and facilitate final interviews.

Purpose of positionThis position sits within the Program Team at ActionAid and coordinates the Secretariat for the Shifting the Power Coalition (StPC), which supports diverse Pacific women’s leadership in climate and humanitarian action. The position is responsible for coordinating the delivery of a portfolio of ActionAid Australia managed grants, including funding for the Coalition. This includes coordinating partner grant making and reporting processes, the StPC Steering Committee approvals and reporting and partner compliance aligned to core policies and standards. The role also coordinates donor reporting and works with the Regional Hub to ensure grant implementation in accordance with contracts and plans.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Coordinate the Secretariat of the “Shifting the Power Coalition” in the Pacific working in close collaboration with the AAA programs team and the StPC Regional Hub based in Suva, Fiji to deliver on the strategy and grant requirements;
- Ensure quality grant management of all donor-funded StPC projects and other allocated projects, including timely project documentation, monitoring, reporting and partner compliance as well as information management through ActionAid’s contract management system;
- Act as the AAA Focal Point on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment and support investigations in the Pacific working with AAI’s Safeguarding Team;
- Contribute to the AAA’s positioning and thought leadership on locally-led development and feminist movement building.
Skills and competencies required- A proven commitment to women’s rights, gender equality, and inclusion. This includes a commitment to ActionAid’s intersectional feminist values and human rights-based approach
- Degree in international development, gender studies, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant program management experience, ideally in a development or humanitarian context.

5. Peer Learning Exchange Programme: Six-month online journey monthly facilitated peer learning circles feminist governance, resource mobilisation, digital security collective care and advocacy.
6. Resilience building Accompaniment: Six -month online programme. A cyclical journey of learning covering advocacy in hostile spaces collective care and developing organisational Resilience Action Plans.
7. Integrated resource directory and Toolkit: a living and accessible ecosystem of practical tools, contextual knowledge and peer connections designed to strengthen the operational resilience and strategic response capacity of French and Portuguese speaking women’s rights movements.

Functions / Key Results Expected
Gender and WPS Operational Support with an inclusion focus- Provide context-sensitive, operationally focused analysis and technical support to the program team on an intersectional approach to gender mainstreaming, WPS programming and the inclusion of intersecting identity groups.
- Together with the program team, ensure that gender mainstreaming, WPS and inclusion are operationalised in a conflict-sensitive, politically attuned manner, tailored to the operational context.
- Apply a hands-on approach to ensure gender and WPS commitments - specifically as they relate to inclusion and intersectionality - are reflected in project planning, budgeting, implementation and reporting across the Fund’s portfolio.
Stakeholder Engagement and analysis- Support the SPM in engaging directly with women leaders, networks, and organisations to build strategic relationships and identify opportunities to create and strengthen women’s meaningful participation and influence in peacebuilding processes.
- Building on the relations and engagements with the stakeholders and knowledge of the political landscape, conduct gender focused mappings, and context analysis that incorporate intersectional dimensions to support portfolio development, program design and implementation.
Capacity Development and Backstopping- Support the program team and implementing partners with demand-driven and continuous technical support, on-the-job accompaniment and coaching on integrating intersectional inclusion into gender and WPS work.
- Provide practical guidance, tools, templates, and examples to support colleagues and partners in applying an intersectional approach to gender-sensitivity and WPS in their daily work. Ensure through coordination with programme team colleagues that these are conflict and partner sensitive.
- Contribute to building an internal culture of gender and inclusion sensitivity and collective ownership within the Programme Team through informal peer learning, knowledge sharing and facilitated reflections and reviews.
Requirements- Advanced University Degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in a relevant field, preferably gender studies, peace and conflict studies, international development, political science, sociology, anthropology, law, or other related disciplines, is required.
- A first-level University Degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, combined with an additional two (2) years of relevant professional experience, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
- Specialized training or certifications in gender mainstreaming, Women, Peace and Security (WPS), human rights, or conflict sensitivity are considered an asset.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in gender equality, peacebuilding, or related thematic fields is required

Asian Community AIDS Services (ACAS) is a charitable, non-profit, community-based organization located in Toronto, Canada. We provide safer sex education and services to the East and Southeast Asian communities and support services to persons living with HIV/AIDS and members of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community. Position Overview: ACAS provides outreach to Asian migrant farm workers (AMFWs) across Southwestern Ontario, offering culturally appropriate sexual health education, supplies and links to essential services. We train Peer Champions to support their fellow workers with HIV/STI information and connect with them online or in person throughout the season. The Technical Advisor is a member of the Country Management Team and is expected to contribute to the development of Plan International Uganda’s strategic plans – both long and short term. The job holder ensures that emerging best practices in Gender equality & child rights are incorporated into programme strategy and project design and that the results of learning are fed back into the design and adaptation of strategies.
The Technical Advisor supports the design of PIU’s Gender Equality & Child rights programme and influencing interventions. The role is also accountable for the provision of standards, tools, advisory services and monitoring frameworks that will assure the programmatic excellence and technical quality of programme implementation. The Technical Advisor also leads external representation to Gender Equality & Child Rights sector actors, including government, international and local partners. This position is responsible for managing a budget of around €40,000 annually. Additionally, the job holder directly influences the overall programme implementation budget of around €9 million annually.
The key challenge for this position is around the profound difficulty of driving change when the root
causes of inequality are systemic and multi-faceted. This requires the job holder to:
• Have an outstanding ability to think strategically and conceptually, analysing complex, multidimensional systems and hypothesizing logical theories of change, including an ability to conduct Gender analysis.
• Lead the team to innovate – developing new interventions and utilising MERL approaches to test their effectiveness and adapt or pivot strategies in order to optimise impact

Vous justifiez d’une expérience minumum de 5 ans dans le domaine. Une expérience dans le secteur humanitaire est un plus.Également :- Vous disposez d’excellentes capacités rédactionnelles, d’analyse et de synthèse ;
- Vous êtes autonome, rigoureux·se, organisé·e et force de proposition ;
- Vous avez une première expérience en management ;
- Vous maitrisez parfaitement le français et l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
