GEDSI Team Leadership
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to the CAPRED GEDSI Team.
  • Strengthen the capacity of the CAPRED GEDSI team to ensure growth, learning, and forward thinking on GEDSI integration and targeting across all areas of CAPRED programming – internal and external.
  • Provide training and learning opportunities for the full Facility team.
  • Liaise with the Senior Management Team to foster and embed a strong awareness of, and support for, practical GEDSI implementation and learning across the team and within program systems.
  • Provide intellectual leadership, expertise, knowledge, and experience in all aspects of GEDSI programming and delivery.
  • Promote knowledge and learning exchange across the CAPRED team, partner organizations and with other development programs on related issues and share GEDSI ideas/lessons learned and best practices from CAPRED.
  • Participate in Cowater’s GEDSI Community of Practice, sharing lessons learned, good practices, tools and resources from CAPRED with other Cowater projects.
 
GEDSI Strategic Leadership
  • Lead on the annual review of the GEDSI Strategy, and ensure annual programming aligns to the Strategy.
  • Lead the implementation and coordination of CAPRED’s GEDSI priorities and strategy.
  • Provide collaborative and inclusive GEDSI advising, leadership, and guidance across all Facility programming areas (Agriculture, Trade, Enterprise Development, Investment, Infrastructure, Climate, and Policy).
  • Integrate GEDSI into all Immediate Outcomes and End of Facility Outcomes for inclusive, impactful, and effective development activities and partnerships.
  • Support the integration of GEDSI into CAPRED monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks.
  • Develop and proactively maintain relationships with CAPRED partner GEDSI organizations and agencies (including RGC and DFAT) to ensure the CAPRED the GEDSI strategy is well-aligned with Cambodian and Australian priorities.
  • Provide oversight of all GEDSI priorities and their implementation across the Policy Hub facility, technical domains, and internal operations.
  • Work with CAPRED Partners to provide strategic direction on change-oriented approaches to support the increase of their capacity to critically reflect upon their interventions and iteratively adapt their methods based on evidence.
  • Lead review, synthesize, and share global and country-specific analytical studies on GEDSI and women’s empowerment issues, as relevant.
  • Provide guidance and facilitate sharing CAPRED’s GEDSI successes, externally and internally with the project team and Cowater HQ, by advising and leading on research, data analysis, presentations, written articles, and communications.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive experience in implementing GEDSI approaches in private sector development programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with government on GEDSI inclusive and sensitive policy reform.
  • Direct experience in disability inclusive programming in private sector development programs highly desirable.
  • A proven strategic thinker with the ability to facilitate and support the translation of the GEDSI strategy into programming and programming into outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to addressing GEDSI (especially gender equality) both internally in organisations and in external/ program work, including a deep understanding of power dynamics (preferably in the Cambodia context).
  • Ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible GEDSI leadership experience with preference for GEDSI experience in Cambodia
  • At least five (5) years of senior management experience directly responsible for a growing team.
