About EPF
The European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual and Reproductive Rights (EPF) is a Brussels based Parliamentary network that serves as a platform for cooperation and coordination for
the 33 all party groups in Parliaments throughout Europe that focus on improving sexual and reproductive health and rights at home and abroad through national and regional health and
foreign aid budgets.
Job Description
Key responsibilities, fulfilled in collaboration with other staff, include:
- Assisting with on-going research projects;
- Supporting the organisation of parliamentary events;
- Advocacy support;
- Support with conference logistics;
- Support communications and social media campaigns and outreach;
- Drafts correspondence, position papers etc.
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in political or social sciences, International Affairs or related field;
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in the field of political advocacy and parliamentary work (ideally at EU level);
- Substantive knowledge of EU decision-making processes;
- Knowledge of development and population policies especially on sexual and reproductive health and rights, women’s rights and gender equality desirable;
- Excellent analysis, writing and communication skills in English; fluency in French and other languages would be an asset;
- Willingness to work flexible hours and willingness to travel;
- High level of IT literacy;
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills and ability to work independently and as part of a small but hard-working team required.
