Background
Background
Y+ Global is the largest global network of young people living with HIV, collaborating with over 109 implementing partners across 30 countries. Our network is led by young people, for young people.
Founded in 2005, Y+ Global is headquartered in the Netherlands and Cape Town, South Africa. Our mission is to empower young people living with and affected by HIV to assert their rights, influence policies, and lead effective solutions tailored to their needs.
Since 2024, Y+ Global has reached over 102,000 young people through our advocacy, capacity-building, and skills-building programs, as well as leadership and empowerment initiatives, positively impacting more than 850,000 lives. We operate at the intersection of HIV, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender equality, and human rights, promoting youth-led accountability and inclusion at both global, regional and national levels. As a global youth network, we ensure young people's diverse voices are at the forefront of decision-making and policy discussions on their health, well-being, and rights.
