Movement building Youth
Whisper To Humanity Foundation is seeking a visionary, dynamic, and dedicated young feminist leader to join our executive leadership team as Programmatic Co-Executive Director (African Programming, Policy Advocacy & Operations).

About Whisper To Humanity Foundation
Whisper To Humanity Foundation is a movement-driven collective of young people committed to promoting social progress through an intersectional feminist lens. By leveraging transformative education, playful learning, digital safety, and creative artivism, Whisper To Humanity actively bridges gender gaps and builds safe, equal environments across its network in eight African nations.

Reimagining Leadership: Shared Co-Executive Leadership
To secure long-term organizational sustainability, honor feminist power-sharing principles, and prepare for a seamless succession from our Founding Executive Director, Whisper To Humanity is restructuring its executive oversight into a Dual Co-Executive Leadership structure.

This operational model splits executive governance into two focused, complementary areas:
  • Programmatic Co-Executive Director (Operations & Programmes): Directs regional expansion, program strategy, policy advocacy, and cross-border network initiatives.
  • Administrative Co-Executive Director (Administration & Communications): Manages internal governance, organizational messaging, financial management, and administrative infrastructure.

The incoming Programmatic Co-ED will enter during an exciting transition phase, working alongside the Administrative Co-ED and receiving structured mentorship during a 24-month handover transition with the Founding Executive Director.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility Criteria
Whisper To Humanity is deeply committed to youth-led, pan-African feminist leadership. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Age Criterion: Must be 28 years old or under at the time of application, maintaining our core mandate as a movement led by young people.
  • Feminist Leadership & Collective Care: Demonstrated commitment to pan-African feminist principles, intersectionality, non-hierarchical power-sharing, and trauma-informed collective care.
  • Program Management & MEL Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing, executing, and evaluating multi-country feminist initiatives, youth campaigns, or community programs in Africa.
  • Regional Operations & Risk Mitigation: Proven background in managing remote teams or regional hubs across borders, alongside experience implementing digital security and safety protocols.
  • Policy Advocacy & Coalition Building: Experience in translating grassroots community insights into policy campaigns, artivism initiatives, and pan-African network alliances.
  • Resource Mobilization & Co-Governance: Strong capability to co-lead grant writing, partner stewardship, and shared organizational governance.
