About Equimundo
Equimundo, an international non-governmental organization (NGO) that promotes gender equality and prevents violence, seeks a senior voice in the gender space to take the role of Chief of Development.
Equimundo received a substantial investment from Pivotal Ventures in 2025, which has allowed it to grow in visibility and impact and build additional, larger grants. The Chief of Development will join the team and lead development during a period of important growth and impact as Equimundo embraces this new phase.
Reporting to the CEO, this position leads Equimundo’s business development team, acting as a strategic member of the leadership team and playing a pivotal role in leveraging Equimundo’s recent growth to create even more impact in the gender equality space.
Role Purpose
The Chief of Development is part of Equimundo's executive leadership, providing high-level strategic direction, participating in key decision-making, and connecting advocacy, programs, and research to funding opportunities. Given Equimundo’s growth in scope and visibility over the past few years, this new position will help strategically guide and build Equimundo alongside the CEO and Deputy CEO as a senior leader of our external-facing strategy.
The Chief of Development will lead Equimundo’s fundraising team and steer business development at the executive level. The person will join Equimundo at an exciting moment of growth. With major support from Pivotal Ventures, Minderoo, and others, Equimundo has doubled its budget in the past 2 years and is poised to sustain its impactful, growing global work. This hire comes at an opportune time for a driven, connected, and networked individual who is passionate about caring manhood
