About The Giving List Women
The Giving List Women is a Santa Barbara-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing gender equality and catalyzing philanthropy and investment strategies that center women and girls. Through curated gatherings, strategic partnerships, and thought leadership, we convene influential leaders, donors, investors, and changemakers to support global impact.

We are seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial, and relationship-driven Director/EVP of Development & Partnerships to help expand philanthropic support, deepen community engagement, and grow mission-aligned partnerships that advance our work.

Position Overview
The Senior Director/EVP of Development & Partnerships will lead fundraising strategy and execution across individual giving, sponsorships, partnerships, donor stewardship, and strategic growth initiatives. This role will work closely with the CEO, COO & VP of Strategy, and communications and event staff to cultivate meaningful relationships with donors, foundations, corporate partners, and community leaders.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in relationship-centered environments, enjoys connecting mission with philanthropy, and brings both strategic thinking and strong execution skills to development work.

The Senior Director/EVP of Development & Partnerships will play a key role in expanding The Giving List Women’s visibility, sustainability, and impact through thoughtful engagement and revenue-generating partnerships aligned with our mission to support women and girls.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, partnerships, philanthropy, business development, or related fields
  • Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, sponsorship development, or revenue generation
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Professional presence and comfort engaging with high-profile donors, community leaders, and partners
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team environment
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRM systems, fundraising platforms, and project management tools
  • Experience in philanthropy, women-centered initiatives, nonprofit leadership, or mission-driven organizations is strongly preferred
