JOB OVERVIEW
Under the supervision of the Women’s Protection and Empowerment Officer, the Women’s Protection and Empowerment Program Outreach Facilitator will play a crucial role in achieving the program’s goals by implementing targeted activities aimed at preventing gender-based violence (GBV) and empowering women. This role is key in developing consistent, gender-sensitive messaging effectively delivered to diverse audiences.
Through outreach activities related to GBV, the Outreach Facilitator ensures that accessible and effective information is disseminated among various groups, including vulnerable populations, thereby strengthening the program’s relevance in protecting and empowering at-risk individuals in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 
  • Language: Ukrainian required; English desirable
  • Education: Higher education in social work, human rights, psychology, public health, humanities, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement, mobilization, and work with women and girls affected by armed conflict
  • Strong understanding and commitment to the well-being of women and girls, and support for their healing after experiences of violence
  • Ability to respond to emergencies when needed and support the Women’s Protection team in providing assistance as required
  • Experience in facilitating group activities, training sessions, workshops, and mentoring others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect toward clients/beneficiaries
  • Positive and professional attitude, including the ability to work productively in a team
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a multitasking environment, manage pressure effectively, adapt to change, and demonstrate flexibility
