We are seeking a motivated and exceptionally organized intern to support coordination of the launch of our new Equity in Action Strategy and reporting and knowledge capitalisation efforts.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in development event planning, stakeholder coordination, and strategic documentation within a dynamic environment.

Job description
- Assist in planning, logistics, and coordination of workshops and conferences.
- Support communication with staff and stakeholders (partners, guests, speakers, and participants).
- Prepare event materials such as agendas, background notes, presentations, and follow-up reports.
- Document key lessons learned, and outcomes of events and other actions for learning and dissemination.
- Contribute to content creation (e.g., briefs, social media articles,..).
- Create, update and maintain event databases and update contact lists and mailing lists.
- Support knowledge capitalisation and learning material
Your profile
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in international development, communications, social sciences, economics, human resources, administration or a related field.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French (for communication with colleagues in partner countries and stakeholders). Dutch a very strong +.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel.
- Interest in international development and event coordination.
- Interest and drive for gender equality, women’s rights or inclusion a must.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
