Red Dot Foundation (RDF) is a nonprofit dedicated to making public and private spaces safer by addressing sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) through crowdsourced data. Our flagship platform, Safecity, has collected over 100,000 personal stories globally. We use this data to
influence policy, support community-led solutions, and drive systemic change for gender justice.
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and mission-driven Tech Product Manager to lead the development and optimisation of our digital platforms. You’ll oversee the Safecity app and website, manage vendor relationships, and drive feature development in line with community needs and user
experience best practices.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead the roadmap for Safecity’s tech platforms (app, website, backend infrastructure).
● Manage development sprints and liaise with external developers and tech vendors.
● Oversee quality assurance, bug testing, and performance monitoring.
● Ensure platform security, accessibility, and scalability.
● Collaborate with creative teams on landing pages, UX/UI improvements, and integrations.
● Manage SEO, Google Ads, and digital campaign tech infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience
● 3+ years in tech product management or full-stack project management.
● Experience with platforms like GCP, Retool, AWS, and WordPress.
● Basic understanding of frontend/backend systems and databases.
● Strong project management and communication skills.
● UX/UI sensibility and user-centred design experience.
● Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
● Interest in civic tech or social impact is a strong plus.
