ABOUT WOMEN WIN
Founded in 2007, Women Win (WW) is a global multi-dimensional women’s fund guided by the vision of a future where every girl and woman* exercises their rights. WW collaborates with diverse partners to increase the assets, access, voice, and agency of women and girls around the world. Our work focuses on investing in and providing support for a diverse global portfolio of partners. We also aim to influence a wide range of cross-sector stakeholders and broker unusual partnerships. Women Win works to advance girls’ and women’s rights amidst the scarce resources currently available for feminist movements.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
An internship experience within this team presents a range of opportunities including gaining work experience related to women’s rights and the sport for development sector, and deepening knowledge pertaining to grant-making and partner management, including participatory and equitable approaches to decision-making, regranting and learning. Together with members of the team, you will be supporting the implementation of several key programmes, such as the ONSIDE Fund, Secure Futures, and Goal Accelerator.
Possible activities during the internship include:
● Curate content and manage the online Implementing Partner Community and/or Grantee Community;
● Organise logistics and provide technical support for partner calls, webinars, learning exchanges and/or in-person convenings;
● Support with designing and developing various partner tools, curricula and resources;
● Support with monitoring, evaluation and learning processes, as well as compiling information and writing project reports;
● Support with creating communications content for key projects;
● Administrative support for some projects, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes and providing follow up on action items;
YOUR PROFILE
● You are currently studying or recently finished (in the last 6 months) in one or more of the following fields: gender studies, sports management, sport for development, or international development.
● You are fluent in English; other languages such as Arabic, French or Spanish are also highly desirable;
● You have an affinity with the vision and mission of Women Win;
● You are a team player with an open attitude and have the willingness to learn;
● You have good communication skills, both oral and written;
● You have a curious mindset and adaptable working style; you can take initiative and have the ability to problem solve; ● You are keen to be part of and can work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment;
● You have your own equipment to work remotely (computer with working microphone, camera and good internet connection).
