Job Description:
- Lead on the development and implementation of a communications strategy and a social media plan for YANAA with the content focus on young feminist leadership and advancement of abortion rights in keeping with the objective and sub-objectives of YANAA.
- Plan and run campaigns to mark International Women’s Day, International Safe Abortion Day, Human Rights Day etc. and amplify demands of the network members as well as lead on incorporating learnings and content from the on-ground campaign activities of members into the campaign online by coordinating with the members.
- Coordinate online workshops in collaboration with other organisations and experts for YANAA network members to build their capacities on abortion advocacy in collaboration. Ensure that the language and politics of abortion advocacy in online workshops is feminist and rights-based.
- Carry out desk-based research and creatively disseminate findings of the latest trends on abortion access and legislation especially for young people.
- Work with YANAA committee members and experts to incorporate voices of young activists from different regions of the world and ensure YANAA is truly a youth-led network.
- Initiate ideas for partnerships and collaborations.
- Co-lead proposal writing and fundraising.
- Represent YANAA in external advocacy meetings.

Criteria for Applying:
- Preference will be given to women candidates from the LAC/ Sub-Saharan Africa/ MENA region.
- Prior work experience of 3-5 years on abortion rights and SRHR with the ability to work under limited supervision preferred.
- Age: Between 18 to 30 years.
- Language Preference: This role requires a high proficiency in English.
- Commitment of at least one year.
- Ability to work across time zones and in small teams.
- Excellent skills to use design tools and softwares is a must.
- Strong coordination, facilitation and maintaining partnerships skills required.
