POSITION DETAILS

This person will:

  • Manage daily administration of SRJ Hub activities as set by the SRJ Hub leadership.
  • Assist the Senior Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs with fundraising for the Hub’s programs, the Global Campaign to End Gender Based Violence, and the Byllye Avery Endowed Professorship.
  • Provide administrative support and tracking of the SRJ Hub’s budget.
  • Prepare grant proposals, reports for management, and reports and presentations for SRJ Hub donors and other stakeholders.
  • Assist the Senior Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs and SRJ Hub faculty and staff with curriculum development planning.
  • Project manage SRJ Hub activities, including research, curriculum development processes, advocacy campaigns, special events, and ongoing and ad hoc SRJ Hub meetings and processes.
  • Promote the SRJ Hub’s work to diverse audiences, including through collaboration on journal articles and preparation of op-eds, web content, and social media.
  • Manage and coordinate the calendar and all special events and programs for the SRJ Hub.
  • Represent the SRJ Hub at events and meetings when requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' relevant experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in public health, gender studies, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of sexual and reproductive justice and centering the lived experiences of women of color.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience crafting communications for diverse audiences and platforms (e.g. academic journals, op-eds, web content, social media).
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, project management, analytical, and conflict-management skills, and the ability to balance numerous demands, evaluate competing priorities, and adjust planning as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under general supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, donors, and community partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on sensitive, confidential, and complex issues with discretion.
  • Experience organizing in person, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and social media.
