The Department of Philosophy, Gender and Sexuality Studies invites applications for sessional instructors to teach the following courses in Fall 2024 (Sept 03, 2024 - Dec 06, 2024) and Winter 2025 (Jan 13 - Apr 11)

Fall 2024 Course of Instruction:

GSXS305 Special Topics: Queer Social Change History
03-SEP-2024 06-DEC-2024 W  17:00-19:45 In person
Position Requirements:

PhD in a relevant discipline: candidates with a master’s degree and teaching will also be considered.
Applicants who have completed their candidacy requirements or who have equivalent professional experience may be considered
Candidates with current active connections to 2SLGBTQI+ communities preferred.
Experience teaching undergraduate courses at a university level
Evidence of current expertise in the course subject matter

Winter 2025 Course of Instruction:


GSXS 315:  Methods for Gender and Sexuality Research

Position Requirements:

Candidates with an understanding of Arts Activism methodologies preferred 
Experience teaching undergraduate courses at a university level
