SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager works closely with the Pod Co-Leads to advance the strategic priorities by working collaboratively within Emerging Movements Pod as well as across Global partnership team with an ultimate vision of advancing gender justice globally. The Senior manager will help to cross-pollinate insights and coordinate strategies towards the mobilization and deployment of funds in response to movements’ needs. They are a skilled at project management and will provide strategic oversight and management support to the Movement-led Approaches within the Emerging Opportunities Pod and across the Global Partnerships vertical.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Movement Support (80%)
- Support Emerging Opportunities Pod Co-Leads in finalizing the list of movements to support in FY25 and determine which approach is a better fit for which movement (emerging, sustaining, or participatory)
- If appropriate, conduct mapping exercise or initial landscape processes to determine if there is interests among movement actors for collective decision-making
- Consolidate inputs from stakeholders for reviewing and recommending which movements Global Fund for Women should support.
Writing (20%)
- Support resource mobilization strategies to steward, educate, involve, and cultivate existing donors supporting our Emerging Opportunities strategy.
- Coordinate writing needs for Pod 1 with consultant
- Provide technical support to team members in the preparation of meetings and other consultations with donors, including the preparation of notes, brief and other materials.

KEY SKILLS/WAYS OF DOING
Required
- At least 5 years of experience working in global gender justice settings
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Experience with strategy development to include goal setting, initiative development, resource allocation, and implementation through project management with multi-disciplinary teams.
